Kobe

International port city with the $10,000,000 night view from the top of Mount Rokko.

Don't miss the oldest onsen and numbers of sake breweries to taste for your ultimate relaxation.

Since its opening as an international port in modern Japan, Kobe has been a gateway between Japan and overseas.  With the foreign settlers, Kobe is a leading city of foreign cultures such as Chinatown or famous Kobe Beef.  And in the evening at the top of Mt. Rokko, you can enjoy the $100,000,000 night view, stretching from Osaka to Akashi or all the way down to the southend of Osaka Bay with delicious Kobe wine or beer.

But don't miss the authentic aspects of Kobe.  In 30 min. from downtown Kobe, you can relax at the oldest hot springs in Japan, Arima Onsen.  And Kobe has numbers of traditional sake breweries for free tasting and merchandise.

Kobe was damaged badly by the earthquake in 1995, but with strong will of people, the city is no back to normal and in fact better and more active than before.

I will guide you to both modern and authentic side of Kobe.
